Selena
She was singer performer designer and broke barriers in the world of music. The dual nature of her role as the Mexican American star was both conventional and modern. She introduced Tejano to mainstream fame with her innovative approach. She was a rising star but her sudden death broke it. And as is common with a talented, charismatic young performer passes away too early and is buried, many mourned the greatness that she had yet to achieve. The fans have worked hard throughout the years to keep her legacy alive. Her tragic death in a shooting provoked a response from the Latino Community that was comparable to reactions following the deaths of Elvis Presley or John Lennon. The most well-known Latino artist across North America, Selena's music has influenced many people throughout the world. Selena might have been described by certain people as an Latina Madonna, but she's still an excellent role model. Selena's values of family life offstage and involvement with AIDS awareness programs make her a good example.
