Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina Shchenko is an Kyrgyzstani Muay Thay champion. She currently competes in the UFC Flyweight division. She's older than fellow UFC Fighter and the former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko's career in combat sports started out with her debut as a Muay Thai competitor. Shevchenko debuted on the IFMA World Championship Tournament in 2003. Shevchenko took the title before being defeated by Suzane Mller with a majority vote. Antonina was able to follow it up, with a silver-medal in 2007, a bronze in 2008 a gold medal in the year 2011 and the title of year-end 2016 IFMA Amateur Muay Thai World Champion. Antonia's professional journey began in 2003. In 2012 she won the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship In 2016, she won she won the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship and in 2016 the WMC World Championships. Antonina last fought against Isa Tidblad Keskikangas, in the Phoenix Fighting Championship. She won by unanimous vote. Antonina Shychenko's first professional MMA debut came in 2002 at the KFK Cup of Kyrgystan where she was matched against Anara Bayanova. She took the fight by TKO at the end of round two and her following two matches were staged at the WXF X-Impact World Championships. Shevchenko had a brief absence from MMA and concentrated on her kickboxing. Shevchenko made her comeback in 2017 when she fought Anissa Diddaoui. Shevchenko was able to defeat Anissa in a unanimous decision and defeated Valerie Domergue on Phoenix FC 4 in the year 2017. She joined Dana White Contender Series 2018 following the departure of the league. Shevchenko defeated Jaimelene Nievera during Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11 Antonina made use of her formidable strike techniques to TKO Nievera in the clinch by knees on the body.
